I am introducing myself as The Light Blue Wasp, Hello!

I am new to blogging and I thought this would be the best way to help me continue on with my career change and aspirations I have newly set for myself. Having others view my outcome will only help me strive for the future I dream of. Added thank you's along the way of course!

I shall start with the title. The Light Blue Wasp represents me developing into a Blue Wasp i.e. Police officer. The term 'wasp' is a slang Irish term referring to the police. Meaning 'they will swarm around you'. I use the light blue, because I am not True Blue yet!

I have been working on this career change for over a year now with becoming physically fit, 1 yr. clean, starting school part-time, volunteering, and working full time. Although I still have along way to go, I am beginning to see change. It is getting more intimidating to see future challenges ahead, but I am pushing through and I hope that this writing and support will keep me focused and positive.

I will post helpful hints and links along the way to help others on the same journey to a healthy lifestyle or on their way to becoming a future Police Officer. 

Hint #1 - Log onto a useful forum, such as PolicePrep.com or BlueLine.ca. These both have given me so much info on the little things that will help my application process and to be more competitive then the next person. There are police officers on there to give great advice and chances are you may have the same questions everyone else is wondering. Check it out!
